serious microbubbles

Hey guys, got a lil' problem. We got a NanoCube 24g that we're setting up for seahorses. It's been set up for about 4 months, but I can't seem to get rid of this massive microbubble problem. I thought we'd wait it out to see if after break in they would go away, but no such luck. We have live rock rubble in the left most chamber, with a sponge and Chem-pure on top next to the overflow. Got a sapphire skimmer in the middle chamber and a MJ-900 in the right chamber with a hydor Flo. Got an extra MJ-400 for water movement inside the tank. I added a piece of filter pad to the spill over between middle and right chambers last night and wrapped a piece of filter pad over the MJ-900 intake. Still have microbubbles. Any suggestions?

were the micro bubbles in the tank before you added the skimmer? i have a 24g aquapod i run 2 mj-900's and a sapphire AP24 skimmer. the only time i had micro bubbles is when the skimmer was breaking in. but before i had the skimmer my mj-900's would produce some micro bubbles when the screens on them would get clogged or if the impeller needed to be cleaned. if you have the screens on them try cleaning them and the impellers

Check to make sure that the hose connecting the pump to the bulkhead has a good seal at the bulkhead. A leak there will act almost like a venturi and suck air into the line producing microbubbles.

Gonna try supergluing the hose to the bulkhead, since it seems pretty loose. Hopefully that will help. Thanks guys.
