My serpant starfish curled up in a ball after my little puffer harassed it, is he just protecting himself? Help!

Probably a defensive thing, I'm sure he's fine as long as he doesn't have any huge injuries.

Puffer will eat it eventually.

Taking the little puffer out and into qt. No huge injuries the puffer is literally the size of a quarter
