Setosa and sponge conundrum

So my dilemma is this. I have this 8 or 9 inch setosa colony and I have blue plating sponge all around it. Sponge started growing around the front and I like the contrast BUT the sponge is getting a little big these days. Should I leave it be and enjoy the contrast or remove the plates in front to let the whole setosa be visible?

Leave it. The contrast is nice and the growth is natural.

That's pretty sweet plating sponge. I have never seen one. I like setosa better though. Can you frag the sponge? lol
