Setting up a QT?

Ok well I am trying to fight this ick in my main tank.
Now I am setting up a 10g QT..I think its a little much to put my fish all in it. Is it ok to
I have a Porc puffer, pair closn, dragon wrasse, sgt major, and lawnmower blenny

Hi 05Xrunner,

Its going to be two small.

You will probably be dealing with water quality issues on a daily basis, especially since you have a puffer that is already a messy eater.

The blenny and the clowns would proabby do fine in a 10 gal. I had a FF and 1 clown in a 1 gal

but you will need something bigger. or a couple smaller ones.

check for ammonia often as that can build up fast.

I am not doing it..1 I will never catch all my fish.2 as soon as I put my puffer in ther ehe was freaking out way to much and puffed up twice and felt bad. I am not putting him through that.
I bought fresh garlic and smashed it up and soak their food in it now..Also using Kick-Ich on the tank..Some have had succes others say no..I am giving it a try though.

Not to rain on your parade, but i currently have ich in my tank, i fed garlic for 2 weeks almost, and symptoms got worse, tonight i set up my 30 gallon for qt tank. Believe me i did not want to do this,because i tore my tank down all the way to catch my fish, (200-250lbs.) it sucked, so on that note. good luck.. maybe you will be one of the lucky ones.....
