Setting Up Calcium Reactor Remotely?

Need some help.

I have 270, 150, and 100 gallon tanks. I do not have a dedicated equipment room. I have to fit everything under the tanks in the stands.

I don't have space left under any of them for a calcium reactor and I'm getting tired of dripping Kalkwasser.

My questions are two-fold:

1. can I set up a calcium reactor remotely, i.e. in the garage,
which is about 25-30 feet away from the tanks?

2. can the three tanks "share" a large calcium reactor?

Thanks in advance for any help/insight you can offer!

Well I am no expert on calcium reactors but I do have one set up on my 180.....To have the reactor that far away you would have to make sure the pump was powerfull enough to send the water that far...wich should be no problem at all....the problem you would run into though having a reactor feed more then one tank is that you would have to draw water from each tank at the same time into the reactor and then you would have to somehow have to split off the return to feed each tank exaclty the same amount....you would be mixing water from each tank wich I dont think would be a very good idea at all

Thanks for the advice Zifer4.

You're right, I don't think having one reactor supply three seperate tanks will work and I agree, that I wouldn't like them sharing the same water.

But, as far as running the reactor in the garage, with perhaps the supply and return lines running through the attic, there shouldn't be a problem, right?
