Setting up new tank

I moved and I'm getting ready to setup a new tank. If I use 50 percent water from another reef tank and 50 percent new rodi water will I be able to add fish and corals within a week? Sand and rock have been dried out from previous tank. Thanks

Not likely, You'll have to monitor Ammonia,Nitrite,and Nitrate as you'll be starting a new cycle all over. The Bacteria you want live on the rock and sand not old water. There's still going to be some dead organic material in/on the rock and sand that will start the cycle.
