Setting up this new tank; stock question

Having sold my 120 and downsizing to this 37 column. Plan to keep my pair of ocellaris and my ywg. I also have a multicolor angel but wondering if the smaller tank is suited to this fish. I could opt for a smaller pygmy angel but I've had the multi for two years and he is very healthy. Opinions?

Tank is 20 long, 18 wide and 25 tall.

I am assuming the Angel was in the 120 with the other fish you have listed. If it was me, and the fish was still small, I don't see an issue and I would do it. If the Angel is an adult at max size at around 3 or so inches, then there might be an issue just because he was use to larger size and confining him to a small tank he might feel to confined and get aggressive, unless he is already agressive. But I am far from an expert on angels so I hope someone else will give you their opinion who has had experience with this species.

Jim

And by the way, I love your signature. How true.

i have a tank similar to yours that i recently shut down. IMO the angel will not have enough room. from what i know fish swim left to right not really up and down. i dont think the angel will be comfotable in that tank for to long

Thanks Jim,
Yes, the angel was in the 120 and he is probably about full grown. He was a bit pushy from time to time with the clowns and damsels, but not overly aggressive. My concern is that he would become more aggressive given the confines orf the smaller system and I don't want to have to get him out irf this is the case. I'm going to ask the buyer of my 120 if he is interested in the angel. If not, I may trade him for one of the pygmy sp.

I'm inclined to agree Matt. This angel was very active and would utilize the entire 5 foot length of the tank. I'm leaning towards not keeping it.
Thanks for the input.

No prob and a good choice on not keeping the angel.
