sexing a peacock

on page 2 there is a thread by Gonodactylus titled "sexing a male O. havenensis" which you can see the sex organs. if you can't see those it is probably a female.

Also, females tend to be more drab in color (olive) whereas mature males are usually brighter green (emerald), but that's not always reliable.

Your best bet is to get your peacock to come up out of the burrow, perhaps to claim food, and take a look at that belly. If you see the little "sticks" pointing inward...male. If not...female.
