Sexy shrimp

Anyone keeping sexy shrimp? I have a 34 gallon Red Sea max this tank is going to have a few different types of shrimp. The little sexy shrimp have really sparked my interest are very fascinating. How many do you have in a group, what are you feeding them, are they hard to keep?

I've got a group of five (2M, 3F) in a 65 gallon. They are hosted by a group of five maxi-mini carpet anemones. Fish in the tank include fairy and flasher wrasses, and so far, everyone gets along.

Do they have to have something to host? I'm planning on only putting a few different type of shrimp in my 34 gallon with the sexy shrimp.

I have 7 now for over a year, lost 2 to unknown causes.

Feeding is daily once or twice, they eat the same foods as my fish which is across the board, I do make sure they get to eat as otherwise they can pick on other things and annoy them (like my Sun Coral).

One of the better critters for sure and easy to keep.

btw. You have the same tank as I do. RSM 130.

How cool is that same tank!! I love my Red Sea it has been an easy tank to take care of. Thanks for the info on the sexy shrimp. I just love these little shrimp so interesting to watch waving there little butts around. Lol!!

I also keep sexy shrimp. I have four in one tank and three in another. 28 gallon tank and 45 gallon tank respectively. As for other inhabitants of the tanks, I have clown fish, fire fish, Yasha gobies, peppermint shrimp and some hermit crabs. My sexy shrimp eat along with the other inhabitants. I do not feed them anything special. They are hosted by some bubble tip anemones, some Maxi carpets, Rock flower anemones and everything else in the aquarium. I find them everywhere at various times. They do not stick with any one particular species. They are probably my favorite inhabitants. Good luck with yours.
