Is the tank glass or acrylic?
With the sand removal, are you simply using a hose to vacuum out any detritus?
What about star board, do folks still use it ?

Glass. Yes, vacuuming the detritus. I dont see the advantage of using starboard in my system, the glass is easy to keep clean.

thanks all. There are only 4 fish, 2 chromi's and 2 damsels. Been happy for nearly a year now

a little, not much. The chromis tend to stay at a distance which means there's little bickering overall. On a plus side I love the colour of the damsels, and the way they dart in and out of the rockwork and corals. Theyre always hiding or investigating, which is great to watch. So overall their moodiness is a small price to pay for the colour and character they add.

I have always loved damsels. I love their behavior also, as well as their body shape. I have been considering getting one or 2 for my 75 gal tank I will be starting and this thread shows me that it is possible.

I too have a similar set up and am full zeo. How are you finding the kessil to be?

I'd love to know what your setting for the kessil are at as I'm experiencing brown SPS.
