could someone send me a link to a website where I could buy...
-bags
-heatpacks
-packing peanuts
-boxes for shipping(just normal boxes...I'm going to line it with styrofoam that I'll cut to fit.)
(i've gotta ship out some stuff and need this stuff asap)

I can't seem to find heapacks except ebay. and everything else is sold on individual websites...I can't find one site that has everything on it! Urgh! I've been looking for like 2 hours. Guess I'm searching for the wrong thing?

Have you tried a place like samsclub/costco? I'm going to get new tires next week from sams in 'Springs, so I can take you with if you want to see what they've got. They've got all sorts of stuff for small business handling.

Good luck bro.

what tires are you getting and how much? I'm in desperate need of new tires also. searching around for the best deal on the best tire. I really like those bfgoodrich KDW's, but for 900 a set I really don't have the money for that right now! thats why I gotta ship all these corals out to make some money to pay for this! AHHH! there goes that calcium reactor!

Yea, look at samsclub online, they've got bubblewrap, i'm sure they've got packing peanuts at the stores, they've also got heat packs for $1 a pop. They've also got money deposit bags that come in 100 packs, but maybe the LFS kind you can find at a restaurant supply place? Just a shot in the dark.

I settled on the BFGoodrich KDWs. Good reviews, #3 in consumer reports for performance street tires. btw samsclub sells them for $127 INSTALLED FULL WARRANTY ETC! Yeah... Intense... :)

I don't know what kind of heatpacks you need, but any of the stores that carry camping supplies should have chemical reaction heatpacks that you crush up, shake and then put in your sleeping bag for heat or the pockets of your jacket etc... Try Outdoor World or Jet Outdoors on Bird Road way west of the LFS. I know Jet carrys them.

Invertigator, the only reason I didn't suggest a camping or Sports Authority store is because they're definitely going to be the most expensive there, at least in my experience.

Hey Keith if you are in a bind and need some quick bags try petsupermarket in weston or something. I have been there and just asked if I could buy some of their bags. Instead they ended up giving me well over a hundred for FREEEE!!! But I just bought 1000 from uline.com they are not here yet or I woulda gave you some.

HEat packs I got from walmart, for some small 10hour packs. They were like $2 for 4 of them.

Boxes you can pick up at office depot for fair price. and for insulation just go to home depot and buy sheets of stryofoam. Then cut them to fit inside the box, so you get 6 sides. As for peanuts you can get those at office depot as well.

I also have a packaging supply store near my lab in miami. I get stuff from them as well, but when buying from here they only sell in bulk.

Also when shipping try to get to the store at teh very last minute before the shipper closes. For example I have a UPS store right next to my home. I ask them what is the latest time for pickup which is 6pm. So I arrive at 5:50pm and drop off the packages.

Boom you're done.

thanks! I'm going to buy the heatpacks off ebay though because they're 40 hour heat packs. that way with all the snowstorms and everything if it gets delayed a day theres still a chance of everything living! I'm only gauranteeing live arrival on overnight, but some people want 2 day to keep shipping costs down. thats why I want the 40 or 60 hour heat packs. Thanks for the help!

Also if you can't find peanuts for packing. then just fill the void space with bags of air. Just tie up some of the bags empty with air to keep the other filled bags in place.
Also remember not to let the heat packs touch the bags of livestock. I usually tape mine to the top of the upper styrofoam cover on the inside. Or you could wrap it in newspaper and then tape it.

Either way will work.

Also if you are in a rush a good place to buy everything all at once online is....

www.superiorenterprise.com

they have everything from insulated boxes, heat packs, cold packs to bags of difference size and thickness.

I use this site sometimes.

Keith,

Boxes, go to the Post Office and pick them up for FREE. If you use the Priority boxes and aren't shipping priority or even through the post office then simply cut them open, turn them inside out and reglue them. You have a plain brown box. Don't tell anyone you heard that from me.

Styro lining - Home Depot. I've actually made wooden templates to cut the styro for most of the postal boxes.

Peanuts - ???? I've never bought any. I save everyone I get from things I order and haven't had to search for them yet. There is a box company on Commercial and Pine Island that would have them though.

Heat Packs - I have tons. 40 and 60 hr. I'll hook you up. Give me a call.
