Shipping on saturdays?

I talked to Richard on Wednesday and he told me my package would ship out friday or saturday (today) and that he would get ahold of me to let me knwo when it went out. It's pushing 5:00 EST and I haven't heard from him - If my package was unable to ship it's not a huge deal, but i'm afraid it's sitting in a cold storage closet at the airport, and Richard forgot to give me a call.

I guess my question is, when did Richard get ahold of you to tell you that your package had in fact been dropped off, and has anyone had a package ship on a Saturday? I've been trying to ring richard all afternoon with no luck.

With both parts, Richard called on the day he shipped and gave me the airbill number so I could call the airline and make sure it made the flight before going to the airport. My guess is that, if he didn't call you, your package has not shipped.

Also, both of my shipments came on a saturday.

I got ahold of the airline, and my packages arrived yesterday at 1:30 - all the critters seem to eb alive, as well as some hitchikers, including (it sounds like) one mantis - oh boy

some hitchikers died, but i suppose that is to be expected.

I will get some pictures posted later.

mantis are often in the rock...
sometimes they can live in your tank and not be soo bad.

also though it might be a pistol shrimp.

I have one that I never saw for over a year but I wuld hear him quite well.... when I did have to move the tank and found him he was tiny :eek1:
such loud sound from such a small guy!

there is definatly somethign in there.. i have heard the clicking a few times this morning as well - I can clearly hear it from across the room over the T.V, but noone else seems to hear it heh.

I'll keep my eye open for either critter, and keep an eye on them if it does turn out to be potentially bad.
