Shocked my tank

So I noticed the past few weeks my corals weren't extending as much as usual so I tested my parameters and found out my phosphate was at 0.5 ppm. To fix I I did a full clean and started running gfo in a reactor. I added the recommended amount of gfo and after 48 hours one of my montipora caps is 25% bleached. I guess I used too much gfo to fast? Any suggestion on how to save my montipora?

Remove half or more of your gfo, or feed more, or add more fish or turn down your lights, the Monti will bounce back if parameters become stable again. As always, anything reef related, go slow.

Also make sure you're keeping an eye on your alk and other parameters, running GFO can cause a drop in alk.

I have done a few water changes to restore the all level but I now have a war coral, and pagoda cup bleaching as well.
Temp 77.7
Ph 8.0
NH4 0
NO2 0
NO3 0
Ca 430
Mg 1290
Alk 8-9
Sal 34 ppt

I turned up my reef breeder led from 35% to 50% but that is the only other change I have made. Any suggestions?

Yeah, I would turn the lighting down by at least half, you can also remove the lenses from the LEDs as they tend to focus too much light and cause coral bleaching

I am by no means a pro here, but from my experience less phosphates requires less lighting...

Just based on my personal experiences.

I turned the lights down to 20% and I am seeing some further bleaching. Does it take a little while for them to stop bleaching?
