Shooting Led light tanks?

I don't have a fancy camera, but use to be able to shoot pics of my tank until I switched to led lighting. Now everything is either red, or shows up dark. If the camera is pointed toward the lights it has vertical lines.

What mode should I try to shoot in, or what settings should I mess with. It's just a canon powershot, but it has a few manual settings.

crank the iso is the first step.

Caun u change the white balance on ur powershot if so find out how many kelvin ur led is and set it to that and the color should be corrected.
