good evening folks, i have some concerns about my bubble. i have had it about 3-4 weeks in my tank and was purchased from a local reef aquarium store.
since i have had this in my tank it has refused to eat, has moved several time ( which i understand is normal) but it has i guess pooped several times....i have a cut away sea shell in my aquarium that he rather likes, but recently he moved to the bottom half of the shell and tried to dissapear, so i decided to flip the shell around to see if it was doing ok and this is what i found.

I apologize for the response being slow but I was gonna say that nem looked pretty beat. What are your parameters? how established is your tank

Yeah that anemone was deff a gonner sorry for the loss. Can you tell us more about the tank?
How big? What lights? How long has it been setup? What are your water parameters, numbers please? What equipment do you all have?

A bta shouldnt move much if happy, so an anemone that is constantly moveing means it isnt happy. Mine have been in my tank for 8 years and have only moved maybe an inch or so.

Btw no anemone should ever be a white color, if it is or is starting to turn white or see through then something isnt right.

its all good, thanks for the replies and help, the tank was 5 months old at the time, the ph was 8.4, 0ppm ammonia, o nitrites and 10ppm nitrates.
my fish ended up with ich too......i actually lost everything but my condy.....
tank is 90gal t5 light hood whites and acentics(sp) filter setup is a fluval fx5
and 250lbs of live rock.

i would up removing/changing the substrate, rinsing the live rock and starting all over :(
what ever did it i didnt want to chance it still being in the tank along with the ich.

i put my condy in my 5 gal tank for the time being and he started eating the fish in there.......

i only had the nem for 3 ish weeks, i cant for the life of me figure out what the problem was....im wondering if the condy on the other side of the tank was keeping it on the move.
