We're going to put a 90 gal tank in the family room. The floor joists look to be set on about 13.5 in centers. (no, I can't get up there to measure more accurately right now and DH isn't home)
We want the tank in the corner of the room, running parallel to the joists.
What and how much shoring up (if any) should we do in the basement to make sure this 1050lb or more tank remains stable, and also doesn't come crashing through the floor at any point? Or am I needlessly worrying
