Should i frag this birdsnest???

I have a birdsnest that has been growing great. recently it started to bleach in the center and work its way out. I had noticed something odd on one branch so i blew it with a turkey baster and the flesh came off on a small part of the branch. The exposed skeleton is spreading. All the polyps are sticking way out. I noticed my alk was low. 110. I am raising it now but should i try to frag the good stuff off of it just in case?

I would frag it soon. If it snaps back you'll have two but get that alk up slow

Definitely sounds like necrosis with the tissue blowing off. Yeah I would do some frags of the good parts. Make sure you cut well above the part where there is no tissue.

I would also frag off a healthy part before it all dies.

So when i frag it should i cut off all the bleached area? Or just where the skin is gone?

Also alot of the tips of said branch are good. they are small tips but should i try to save those as well?

i have never fragged before so i would relly like to know what to save and what to throw away.
