Should I put Osama in my big tank?

I have my gonodactylaceus ternatensis in my 24 gallon nano cube in my office. What a great animal. He's full of personality, demolishs little hermit crabs, is frequently out in the open, and doesn't bother the fish (two damsels and a royal dottyback). I'd like to bring him home and add him to my 75. I don't think he can hurt any of the fish, but worry about my corals. Any thoughts?

Fish:
Scribbled Rabbit
Sargassum Trigger
Blue Velvet Damsel
Diadem Dottyback
LMB
Flame Cardinal

Inverts:
CBS (never in the open and if Osama gets him, I'm OK with it)
Big green brittle star (8-9")
4 leathers
2 bubbles
2 clams
2 gsp
frogspawn
xenia
1 acro
1 green slimer

Thanks

I would imagine that thosehighly nutritious eyes of his would soon find themselves in the stomach of the trigger.

I don't think it's a good idea at all. Not a good mix. Too many dangers to the mantis, too many dangers from the mantis.

By the way, you do know that the big green brittle star is pescivorious, right?

hmm i see that trigger trying something with the mantis depending on the size of the mantis, i hear that sargassum, bluethroats, and crosshatches are more fish eaters though

Golden rule!! trigger, Invert no. I am amazed that the snails and crabs r still alive. they mantis would be get to close, and the trigger fish will bite them nice little eyes off

The sargassum was the least of my worries. He doesn't hurt anything and I hand feed him. Hell, I pet him.

you're not a mantis shrimp though

My G tern was my most aggressive and brutal mantis (She passed in a bad molt). While yours seems OK with the fishes that you have now, things might change if you add the mantis into a new system with bigger (I.e., more threatening) fish. G tern are highly territorial, usually living and patrolling a branching coral in the wilds.
While I am sure that the trigger is tough enough, the mantis could easily get in the first shot and do the fishie in, a G tern hits very hard.
Remember the story of the 2 O scyllarus that killed the 6 clown triggers years ago... Dr Caldwell is the one that encountered that experience.

Good luck with whatever you decide.
