Should I Upgrade to G3 Pro

I've had my G1 for 3 years now and I have a mixed reef with some decent growth from my sps to lps..not great but ok.
I'm worried if I get a G3 pro my tank won't like it and crash or I'll burn my tank up. Even with acclimation mode on in concerned.
Any thoughts to what I should do?

I did the upgrade from a Gen 1 to a Gen 3 Pro and I'm absolutely happy with that decision. That said, you do have to be very careful with acclimating the tank with the new light. I started burning a few sps but as soon as i realized that, I turned down the intensity from 40% down to 20% and slowly brought it back up over the course of a month. I am now running the light at a 60% full intensity and my corals are doing great.

Do you notice a difference in growth and color from the gen 1 to gen 3. Is it worth the upgrade?
