Show me your 180G Tanks!

How's that pink tail trigger doing in your reef? I saw a couple this weekend at a lfs. I almost bought one but wasn't sure if they were completly reef-safe.

100% reef safe. Awesome addition to my tank. Absolutely no regrets at all, was a little worried when I first put him in as we went after my small anthias but he got bored and has never bothered them since. Never ever even bothered with any coral or invert. HTH.

Hard to keep up with this hobby!! LOL
Hey Mike, your 180 is looking sweet! Your other tank must have been crowded, looks like the 180 is already stocked well.

Yup.....just spread everything out....there's always room for something new though ;)

are those intake holes for the closed loop on the back wall..how far down from the water level are they and what pump are you using?

Right now they are all returns 2 directly from the pump and 1 in the center comes from the chiller. The original plan was that the center one was the intake and the outer two are for the sump return. I have 4 holes drilled in the Euro brace for return from the closed loop. I was planning a ocean motions squirt. I have all the plumbing to finish it but with the electricity prices I'll stick with me two 18 watt Seios.

I still might do a closed loop with a Sequence Snapper Pump its 2500 gph at 98 watts, just so I don't have to look at the powerheads anymore. All holes on top and back are 1.5" diameter and ones on the back are about 4" from the top.

Does anyone know if the Sequence pump can be run on a timer? Just to turn it off at night.
