Show me what your ricordia that is considered rare, I find sometimes what one considers rare only means thats what the lfs person told them or that they never saw one like it before. Maybe we can see just how wide a range of rare is. I was told blue ricordia is rare, could orange be rare (seem pretty common now). Lets see them; it would be nice if we could see the whole scope of available colors.

Not sure if you are wanting Florida or Yuma, but here are a few of my Florida's. I'm not really sure how rare they are either. If nothing else, they will help in showing the whole scope of available colors.

The first one is a nice powder blue color that I can't seem to capture with the camera. What I think it may be kind of rare in the fact that the mouth is the exact same blue color as the rest of it. Most of the other blues I see have green/pink mouths on them.

The second has a golden yellow center fading to green outside with a blue skirt. The yellows seem hard to find for me.

And a shot of them both together (they are both quite a bit larger now, old pics):

Oh, and this one seems to be a rather common color, except the mouth is completely hot pink, which I have not seen a lot of.

I've seen the blue with green mouth however i was told its really blue it looked more gray to me. saw it at lfs and the person who bought it in said its blue under bright light. The orange ricordia really stand out in a reef tank.
Thanks for posting the pictures

not sure the exact name people refers to these but I have only seen 2 other people with them and the one lfs that had one sold for 95 bucks so im guessing its pretty rare. Unfortunately, i lost the biggest and at one point had over ten babies but now im down to 4 baby yumas.
Here is a pic

Imo the orange colored ricordias get your attention right away in a reef tank and they get about 4 inches round maybe more

Totally agree with buffLO... i am from Malaysia, and it is kind of hard for us to get Ricordea Florida, some reefers here are farming them as well. anyway whether the rics that i post here are consider rare or not ...:wavehand: Pictures are taken using handphone camera under Ushio 400Watt, 10K

i am a true ricordea lover... love their shape, color, and bubbles... but i never keep any in my tank before but only enjoy farming with my friend...

Well this is a WOW , wish i had that kind of collection. Some of them must be rare.
I have to admit one of my very favoorites is plain old florida green. I had a a person who get corals for resale tell me he have to tell his supplier not to send any of them because not too many people want them.

No solid yellows; i figure i would add that cause i've never seen one.
