show us your pics of your pa rock when it arived

Here is the order I received from PA on July 19. I took a mixed bag of fully cured Marshall Island, Fiji, and kaelini. Most of the LR I received was Marshall Island and some pieces were almost the size of a basketball.

This was my first order of LR from Premium Aquatics and after talking with Jason about what I was looking for he matched my ideas with great LR.

I am by no means a photographer but tried to get the best pictures I could. There was a little color fading during shipment but after 2 weeks it has colored up great.

Since the pictures are large the can be viewed here.

Live Rock from PA

I will definitely order LR from PA again :)

Regards,
Chris

Talonn... Wow! That was a lot of pretty good pictures of some great looking rock. I am really impressed. Do you have any pictures of the rock set up in the tank? I would love to see that as well. All of the rock that you purchased was fully cured? It has some really great colors for fully cured rock if so.

Any more pictures from anyone else???

Talonn,

That is top notch rock! You just got PA another customer. I've been trying to decide between PA and DR Mac's, but the MI rock you received is awesome.

I ordered a Turboflotor 5000 Baby from PA last month, but it is on backorder until mid September. Once I get it installed, I'll be placing a nice order for Marshall Island LR from PA. When I receive my LR order, I'll post pics here too.

Thanks for sharing the pics.

BTW... Did you get much rubble in the boxes? I know PA claims to not ship rubble and that they pack their rock well, but I'd like to hear your personal experience.

I have been busy lately but I will try to get some pics posted soon so you can see what the LR is like after a few weeks. The coraline gained it's color back and all is looking even better then what it did when I received it.

I will post another message when I get some pics up.

Chris

P.S.
Floridiot, I did NOT receive any rubble at all. There was a little bit of breakage that always occurs in any shipment but the total amount of rubble from breakage was less than a pound... a lot less and would fit in an average cereal bowl

I'm also curious how much weight those are, especially about how many lbs one of the basketball sized peices is. I need to seed my aggrocrete rocks with some nice live rock and that stuff looks good. Plus PA is very close so I get their orders the next day :)

My order for 150lbs of Marshall LR will be coming in tomorrow night, so I should have some pictures to post by Thursday.

PA can thank Talonn for my order.

Here's the eight large pieces of Marshall rock I just received. I'm extremely pleased with the quality of this rock. I couldn't be happier with these large pieces.

I asked for rocks the size of Tunze Deco and larger, with no rocks larger than about 16" or 17". The smallest rock in these photos is about the size of a deco rock and the largest was about 17" long which is exactly what I asked for.

My only complaint is that I also received about 8 small pieces 5" to 8" that I really didn't want. I guess I shouldn't complain since their total weight only added up to about 12 pounds, but I would've much preferred another large piece rather than the small pieces.

I must note that I received almost no rubble, which was also very nice. Overall I'm happy with my order and would order LR rom PA again. If you want nicely shaped LR, you can't beat Marshall rock.

Sometimes with smaller pieces like that I use some crete or even that frag putty to bind a few smaller pieces together into one larger piece. The results are pretty cool.
