I am intrigued by tube anemones' and would love to see some of them if anyone has any! Are these photosynthetic? Any info on light/flow/level of difficulty/species would be great!

I have two this one is about a week old , so it's still getting settled

they seem to like medium flow , and don't need spot feeding. (the only time i did ,it was a dead clown goby! ) he loved it . very easy to keep. and it seems fish know to stay away from them.

i love the second one! why do fish need to stay away? im looking for pics of this type of tube anenome

You should be okay with one in a larger tank. I had one in a nano that ate the few things I tried to put in there with it. Go to the other invertebrates forum, there is a great thread on these!

Really they aren't that hard to keep. Just feed it once in a while. Most seem to take mysis and similar frozen stuff just fine.

Easy to feed with fast, articulate outer tentacles pulling food items it snags into the inner tentacles. Eats frozen or pellet. Photosynthetic anemones can be harder to keep than tube anemone, IME. I kept mine 5+ years before I shut that tank down. Not clownfish friendly and will burn corals within it's tentacle sweep and you should put them in deep sand in a lower light or dark region of the tank.
