Shrimp ID: Pistol?

There are 5 near-identical shrimp species in the Alpheus armatus complex. Some live with Bartholomea annulata in the wild, one with B. lucida, and one with Bellactis ilkalysea; if the right anemone isn't in the tank they will associate with other anemones. They do not burrow & pair with gobies in nature & won't in a tank no matter what any LFS says. Iamwhatiam has the best information on them.

I think the species in the video might be Alpheus heterochelis. It lives in mud flat/shell hash areas along the US east coast. It's very aggressive & does use the large claw for both defense & knocking out prey items. It doesn't burrow either and likes to live in tunnels made by a certain species of mud crabs. Most alpheids are smaller & much less aggressive.
