Shrimp ID?

Caught this shrimp here in the Keys and have had it for about 6 months and still don't know what type of shrimp it is. It looks similar to a anemone shrimp, but Ive had them and they aren't the same.

Its clear with blue stripes along his body, gold dots, and smaller white dots.

Here is a picture I took of it. Its really hard getting a good picture of this thing, he usually hides in weird places.

Possibly Palaemon floridus. There are several related species in Florida.

Palaemons are called grass shrimp. They primarily eat detritus while tiny crustaceans are the 2nd major component of their food.

They look exactly like what I buy from time to time to feed my mantis. The LFS sells them as "saltwater ghost shrimp." Sorry I cannot give you the name of the species. The next time I go there I will ask the genus and species name for you.

edit: Just noticed LeslieH posted before I did and maybe got the species.

Oh cool thanks guys. Yeah I saw a bunch of them off the beach in the Keys so I decided to put one in my tank. He seems pretty cool and eats pellets.

Looks WAY cooler than the grass shrimp we catch up North.

Yeah he looks pretty cool, Where I got him there was at least a hundred. Plus they are super easy to catch I caught him with my hand.
