Shroom Questions

About 6 months ago I started adding large angels to my tank. I didn't have many corals - some leathers, a few lps and some mushrooms, zoas and gsp. I'm more of a fish guy so was willing to take the risk the Angels would eat everything. The zoas, not surprisingly, were the first to go. Some of the leathers are getting picked at too. Some of the lps got munched, some still ok. Shrooms and gsp completely unaffected.

So... I have no sand in my tank, and have been wanting to get something to grow on the tank floor to cover the bare acrylic besides coralline algae. How easy would it be to get some shrooms growing directly on the acrylic? Are there any species that are particularly easy to do this with? Any that grow particularly fast? I actually don't care about color at all - anything will look better than the acrylic bottom of the tank!

Almost all corals will growing fast on flat surfaces. The only problem with mushroom is how to make them attach to the bare bottom floor without flying off with the power heads on.
