shrukin anemone

iv got a green bubble tip anemone (gbta) and he seems to shrink about 4:00 every day. then i see brown gunk comeing from his mouth. the gunk is not a liquid it more of a stringy type of gunk. someone help me. i paid $160.00 bucks for him and would hate to loose him. HELP ME!!!!!!!!!

good lord a gbta that cost you $160 that must be one impressive looking green bta for you to spend that much on it. Yeah I agree..it sounds like its doing an internal water change and getting rid of waste. BTAs do this often It should return back to normal in a few minutes to a couple of hours.

it did. now he is all blown up and expanded his tentecals to a couple of inches. i think hes removeing waste from his body.

I had a BTA for years that never did that - now I have new one that's been shrinking every day for the past 2 weeks that I've had him. I feel really bad for the Clown that continues to try to host when it's only the size of a half dollar.

no, mine looks much better. it got more of a purpel tip to it.
