Sicce Pump Question

Cleaned my Gen 1 eShopps S-120 the other day. Since then, even with the output closed all the way, the water level is low in the skimmer body. So, I'm thinking the pump (Sicce SE-200) is going bad.

Last time this happened (years ago) I got a replacement pump (Sicce SE-200) that PA recommended and is rated at 357 gph. The question I have is, does anyone know the difference between the Sicce SE-200 and the Sicce SK-200? Both are needle/pin wheel pumps and rated at 357 gph. The reason I ask, PA is the only place I can find the SE-200 and it's $73.00. I've found the SK-200 at multiple places for around $50. Both pumps look to be the same and, if I could save $23 that would be great. I just want to make sure the SK-200 will fit in the body of my skimmer. I've reached out to Sicce but, haven't heard back yet.

I can’t confirm, but it appears the SK is the latest model. Sk is on the Sicce website, SE is not

That's kinda what I was thinking as well. They look very similar. If true, interesting that the older model costs more than the newer one.

Perhaps they’re a company that realizes the can decrease the price as R&D costs come down? Or maybe they understand not everyone in the hobby is a doctor making 6 figures? Idk. (Please note heavy sarcasm in there).

SK means skimmer pump by the way.
Yep, I knew that much. To be fair to Sicce, I didn't reach out to them until this morning and it does state they usually respond to inquiries within 24 hours. Since they're in Italy and I'm in central time zone, it could create a bit of a delay.

Yeah they have really good customer service as well. I've gotten free replacement parts from them in the past. I'm sure you will hear back after the holiday.

Wednesday my skimmer pump suddenly started working as intended. New pump arrived today so, I have a backup.

Interesting how it was shipped. Padded envelope and when I took it out of the envelope here’s what it looked like.

Wow, it's like nobody cares anymore.

This is the company that has an ORA Stuber Acro I was thinking about ordering from sometime in the future. I started to have second thoughts about that but, I believe, the ORA corals are probably shipped right from ORA.
