Sick - Adult Imperor Angel Fish

My 5 year old Adult Imperor Angel Fish has decided this week to become ill. Its color has gone dark, it stopped eating today, and behind its side fins it seems to be dented or sucked in if that makes sense. It used to eat everything and anything. I feed mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and rods reef. I put in both green and red marine algae which it usually tears apart, and it won't touch it. I tried putting in the food vita chem. I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions?

It is housed in a 150gl reef tank. The only change in tank chemistry was last week my A/C went out and so my house was 91 degrees, and the chiller couldn't keep up so the tank temp rose to probably 83 degrees. Usually the tank temp is 77-78 degrees. Other than that everything else has stayed the same. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have watched this fish grow from a half dollar size juvenile to a large beautiful 8" adult.

Do you think flukes or some type of internal parasite could be possible? That's one of the easier things to treat for in a reef with PraziPro. I'd be surprised if this is the issue given that you've had it for so long though. My only other thought is that a 150 might be too small for an 8" Imperator.

I hope you're able to get this sorted out. Please keep us posted and good luck.

Usually, a fish turns dark long after he quits eating and it isn't a good sign. The slight increase in temp isn't a concern, IMO. I really haven't got a clue.
