Sick Anemone

I purchased a purple-tipped Haitian anemone day before yesterday. I acclimated it properly, and placed it on a rock high in the tank. Later that night it fell off. Yesterday morning I found it lying on my short tentacle plate coral, so removed it and placed it on another rock low in the tank. The anemone did not stick, and today it is shriveled up tiny and is not attached to anything, although it still has all of it's color. Help!

Correction: The anemone is attached but only just.

I would leave it alone until tomorrow if is attach to something.. sometimes they move around around trying to find the best spot... They like current and light... so don't get to crazy yet. hopefully it will be fine.

It is better today, more inflated, but it is in a spot where I don't want it to be. I'm just glad it's alive!

The anemone looks great, but just detached itself from the rock. ????

what kind of lighting do you have? what are your water parameters?

sometimes you want it to have it in one spot but they move around until they find the right place..jjjj it is funny... as long as she is not up side down.. you are fine..... when she the spot.. she won't move for a while... i have four different ones around the tank.. and they don't move anymore... but before was crazyyyyyy..jjjj good luck
