Can someone help with identifying this disease? I bought this guy a couple weeks ago and he has pretty much just been hanging out at the bottom corner of my tank. Hasn't eaten much since I got him. I have been trying frozen mysis and freshly hatched brine shrimp and have only seen him eat the brine shrimp once (which he was going crazy for). Since then no luck.
It's basically a lump that look like it is splitting apart or something. Can't seem to find anything that looks like this. Note the white fleshy string dangling. I started paragard 2 days ago (10ml/day in a 20 gal QT) because I was thinking it's possibly the initial signs of Brooklynella? I was also thinking some type of worm and was considering Prazipro. Any insight would be great! Thanks.
