Sick Clown Help

Ok, just got two clowns from a not so local pet store, they are tank raised and said percula's but i'm not sure. My wife picked one and i picked the other. One's real light orange and the other almost looks red. They both looked fine yesterday. Was still in the bag from their distributors. I took them home, gave them a 45 minute formalin dip (as directed on here) and acclimated them to the QT tank. The light orange one swims all over everywhere, eats like a pig. The red looking one was swimming all over yesterday, but today swims at the bottom and doesn't move very much. It looks like part of he tail is gone and the light orange one seems to pick on him. if he moves from the bottom spot the orange one comes over and he ducts and hides again. He won't eat, i even soaked food in Garlic Extreme and selcon and nothing. a piece of food was coming his way and he swam to avoid it. He's not scratching or trying to get air. His mouth does stay open a bit, but not like he's gasping for air, just barely open. no white slim, his body looks really vivid. Any ideas?

You might one 1 false percula and 1 true percula and sounds like maybe the "true" is harassing the "false". . You might have no other choice but to find a good home for the "dark orange" one.

Try putting them in separate tanks. There are a number of options.

1) one is sick.
2) the aggressive one might simply be expressing her dominanace (read the FAQ to identify dominant/submissive behavior)
3) You may have 2 females.
4) The dominant fish may be rejecting the potential mate.
