I have what appears to be the same thing going on. She has been lethargic and has not eaten for almost 4 days now. It has been reccomended to heavy up on the carbon. I have noticed this morning that she looks a LITTLE bit better and she finally ate ... like the true pig that she is ... hope this has taken it's course and I got thru with little harm. Yhis picture was taken yesterday.

I'll post another this eve, like I said, hopefully she's doing better.

I can't see the spots close enough to help you out. So, you'll have to do some comparisons.

Look very closely at the 'spots.' Do they look well defined or are they clumps of what look like cotton or small cauliflower?

If they look like that, compare to this information and photos:

If you're sure it isn't that, then show us an up-close photo. It could be fungus, but that is not very common in marine fishes.
:)

I want to thank everyone for their king advice. I have posted this in numerious forums so please forgive me if you stumble accross this more than once. This has diagnosed as brooklynella by numerous posters. This could be the case as I made a rash call and introduced another clownfish into the system without following proper quarantine procedures.
I must note however that the clownfish in question has shown significant positive progress. I have heavied up on chemical filtration (carbon) and aside from observation that's about it. My female seems to be improving and I will supply new images this w/e if the condition continues to improve. Thank you to all that took an interest in helping me in an hour of need. This is truely a great place filled with wonderfully informative and helpful people. Thanks again.
