ok 6 inch adult imperator
I have had it for 4 weeks in quarantine. qt is a 55g tank with a wet/dry sump on it.
when I got the fish it we very healthy, great colors, eating well.
the fish has been up and down and just seems to go south.
when I first got it, i saw what looked like flukes on or near its mouth and breathing heavily. so I treated with prizapro. that seemed to work.
did some water changes and ran carbon to get the prizapro out once complete 2 cycles. water params all normal.
I then noticed the fish became very blotchy. i chalked it up to irratation. then after a few days i noticed the ich marks on the fins and body. I did a water change and began cupramine treatment with a half dose of maracyn 2.
he seemed to improve and the blothces and ick marks were fewer and fewer. the ich seemed to burst a couple more times from the fish over the past 2 weeks but smaller and smaller. so i assumed the cupramine is working.
now he has his gills flared over an airstone and eyes are clouded oover and not eating.
i feel like i treating everything with this fish.
