sick fish!!!!!!!!!!! HELP QUICK!!!!

hi all.
bought some stuff on line. clown fish, crabs, snails, shrimp. everything is doing beautifully except
one of the fish I got is sick. the yellow tail damsel.

He has whit all around his mouth and its puffy.
I drip acclimated him....
hmmm.....
I am setting up the qt tank as we speak.
is there something I can do to treat him.
I have no lfs store.
Wal-mart is about 15 mins away.

Anything I can treat him with around the house?
It's not eating and swimming wierd (in the same spot the last
24 hrs).

what should i do??

Youd have to try walmart, (but im not sure theyd have it) is there a petsmart? petsmart carries it


Id start your treatment with maracyn 2 for salt water. It treats bacterial and fungal infections and has a appitite stimulant as well. (dont expect it to eat right away might take a few days)
double the doses. If its a ten gallon tank, you will dose 2 tabs the first treantment, then 1 tab a day for the rest of treatment.

It'll turn your qt water bright yellow. thats a good thing.

Maracyn 2 for salt water is relativly cheap and is available almost everywhere. good luck

i have never seen any saltwater meds at Walmart..most likely, you will have to order something off the net for it. that really sucks too because the mail won't be running normally during the holidays.it could be the week after next before you get it!
