Title says it all. I keep getting giant bubbles. I want it gone. Any ideas? I realy just want to add something to eat it. Thats the only bad thing with the tank. everything else has done great. I did get two great bangi cardinals and a cherub angel at gwa during the big sale. They are doing great.

Thanks
Floyd

the only ways to get rid of them is sell your rock, pick them off, and last lower your phosphates so that cant grow in the tank

I cooked my live rock to get the bubble algae off so far so good. They also say red sea sailfins will eat it.

Bought some live rock with a lot of nice stuff on it, and covered in bubble algae. I mean covered. Picked off what we could, and put it in J's tank with a couple of emerald crabs. Only had a slight recurrance, easily controlled. It's been over a year, and the rock is still sweet!

emerald crabs and a copper banded
I had some in my 125
I put in crabs and a copper banded and it slowly disappeared.
Even the Atapsia was being eaten by the copper banded.
Since I crashed my tank and had to start over I do not have the copper banded and I am starting to see bubble algae and atapsia.

Wierd. I had bubble algae. It disappeared on its own. I never had to treat the rock.

On the otherhand, I'm getting an outbreak of aiptasia in my tank.
