Sick pbt, not crypt

Hello,
I have had a pbt in qt for quite a while. When I got it of course got ick and was treated with chloroquine phosphate. Ich free for several months, I then worked on its appetite. I discovered it liked purple sea veggies, aand after a few weeks it was eating any plant material I put in the tank. It looked happy, healthy, and stress-free. This last Friday, I noticed a change. It was staying near the bottom of the tank, swimming slowly, and bumping into the glass and rocks. It was breathing heavier than I'd seen before. I talked with my friend who is much more experienced than I and mentioned that there seemed to be no noticeable issues, ie lateral line issues, ulcers, etc. the pbt had grown quite a bit in qt, and it was only a 40 B, so he suggested I put it in my display, noting that it probably just finally did not like the small confines of the qt. I did so, and noted it immediately sank to the bottom of the tank, where it seemed to bounce around while swimming. I turnedout the lights and checked on it later. It seemed to be swimming fine, but as I said, the lights were out. This am, I turned on the lights and noticed something I did not see yesterday. The front portion of his abdomen seemed to be bulging out a little, and it was discolored. It is swimming, but not well, and it is still breathing heavily. It is picking at the rocks, but obviously this turn has be concerned. Intestinal parasites? Swim bladder issues? Any ideas and treatments would be appreciated. Here is a pic, thanks for your time.

Possibly some internal blockage. Tangs have a very long intestinal tract, although the are considered herbivores, I do believe they require meaty items as well. Boiled peas can act as a laxative if the fish is eating. Might be worth a shot adding espom salt to the tank. Its a know laxative also. 1tsp to 5 gallons. Will have no adverse effects on the DT. Moving this fish back to QT might do more harm than good.
Also; was this fish ever tteated for tapeworm? Prazi, or Metro?
