ive had this seastar for about four months and it used to eat like a pig. its a chocolate chip seastar the ph is around 7.8 to 8 the nitrite and ammonia are zero nitrate is below 10. its a thirty gallon tank with two damsles and a blenny plus some hermits. he stopped eating about three weeks ago and i cannot for the life of me get him to eat. ive tried shrimp pellets, flake, bloodworms, krill (the big kind for large carnivores and the small stuff), and algae but he wont eat. now it looks like he is just deteriorating, i thought at first the hermits were eating him so i took them all out and put them in a different tank but he still just looks like something has been slowly eating away at him and ive watched nothing will even bother him. so if anyone can help me help him if its not to late or give me a good way to put him down without him suffering i would appreciate it, also i would like to keep the body and dry it out so i can keep him forever.
