So I was checking out my tank at work today and I notice that one of my small zoo colonies is all closed up. There on the side of the piece of tile I see this little bugger:

I snag him and he's out of the tank and destined for a snowdrift I think.

This is the colony that he was on, are these eggs? I can only assume that they are. Should I pull this colony from the main tank temporarily? I can put them in the refuge after a FW dip and then keep an eye on them.

before i put any new zoos in my tank, i run them under warm tap water right out of the faucet, i have never had any nudi problems.

Go Packers! They were talking about trading Randy Moss for Aaron Rodgers today on the radio...

Back on topic, when I pulled the tile piece out and gave it a closer looks, the white specks do appear to be sand. I think that the sand is caught in some crazy-glue.

Well, another group of zoos in my tank have been closed up lately. I haven't seen any nudis on them, but today I saw what appeared to be a TINY one. I took the whole colony out and FW dipped it and gave the whole rock a fairly hard shake after it was in the water for a minute or two. Literally HUNDREDS of the little bastards came off. Dipped another couple colonies of zoos and didn't see anything, but I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Is there anything else I should be doing besides FW dips?

Thanks!
