I bet you could use the simple cheap aquarium sealant from ace/lowes/HD

regular silicone is fine from HD-just dont use the anti mold mildew silicone. good luck

Leighton is correct.... save your reefing cash for other things besides silicone. The GE II is fine. Make sure it is 100% silicone, with no mold inhibitor in it. Use the Clear stuff too....

All of the ge silicone II at my local HD in florida has changed to antimicrobal. Look at the label carefully.

No - too much of a hassel. I believe you need a special license and there are more and more protected areas popping up. They are really trying to save the reefs down here and I have a knack of getting into trouble so it is cheaper for me to buy from LFS or online. The fines are really BIG :lol2:

went to home depot today and bllfish is right, all the ge silicone II is now antimirobial, guess no more cheap silicone for us fish people
