silicon sealant safe under water?

Can I use the silicon sealant to seal the leakage from underwater? The sump leaked interior, my sump turn over rate is affected by the leak.

hmm....that is the last thing I want to do , the skimmer is really hard to drag in and ou because of the clearance of cabinet.
Anyone glue/sealant can do that? I even don't know where exactly the leak is, I am going to seal the whole seam....

Unfortunately, I don't believe there is any way to do what you're describing. You're going to need to have the entire seam dry and, if it's a silicone seal, stripped of any old silicone before you reseal it. It's usually best to then wait 24 hours before putting water back onto the seal.

they are right. dry, clean, and then wait for it to cure. if done right you will have to remove old silicone first. just dont remove the stuff between the panes of glass. then rubbing alchol to clean and dry. then begin with the new bead of silicone. smooth it out and wait for 48 hrs to cure. sorry for the bad news.
