Silicone on a 150 gallon.

I'm looking at a 150 gallon tank. It is 6 years old and has not had water in it for 6 months. Should I be concerned about the silicone leaking? It is a 6 ft tank and has 1/2" glass. I believe it is 18" wide and 30" tall.

You ought to buy Markk96's 200 gallon tank, it is very nice and only a couple years old. It is reef ready and no headaches like silicone to worry about.

If it's priced at about $200 or less (really, all it's worth) I'd probably go for it and not worry until it does start leaking.
