Silly newbie qt questions.

Few quick qt questions.

I bought 2 hermit crabs and a 6 line wrasse today. I have a qt set up and all three are in there now.

1st, is it necessary to qt the hermit crabs?
2nd is there a danger of the hermit crabs eating the six line wrasse?

If 1 and 2 are yes any ideas for a interm solution?

Alright. First let me say I _do_ believe you.

I went down stairs to move the HC from the QT to the DT and I'll be dammed if the little bugger didn't have my SLW pinned in the corner of the tank.

I think the flow in the tank was a little strong (10 gal tank with rio 800) so it's possible they got blown into that position. I assume they could be long lost lovers but... I digress.

The SLW is unharmed, no scrathes that I can see so all is well.

One follow up. I have a Sun coral and a Maxima clam. They are fine with the hermit crabs as well right? Before you ask I did read up on them but I'm being a bit paranoid now.

No, don't need to qt hermits.
and no, 6 lines are too fast for hermits... which are more scavenger than predators.

how big and what kind of hermits? I would watch out for the clam... by the way, my opinion..... tank still too premature for clam....

Tank is about 3 months right now. I didn't update the HE line yet.

The hermits are striped hermit crabs about 1 inch shells
