Silverfish?

While I was looking through the frozen food section of the local market I saw a package labled silver fish that looked similar to silversides only they were completly white and a quite a bit more slender. To me they looked like the perfect size for my anemone and bubble coral and they were around $3 for a nice size package of them. I just want to know if these are safe to use for my reef.

Thanks

no, not those silver fish but when I search the internet that is what always comes up. These are actully small little fish. Kind of thin and long with big eyes. A company called Oceankist is who packages it but I can not find any info on their website about the product. I fed it to my two SW tanks and my freshwater tank and everyone gobbled it up and the look fine this morning. I am just worried about nutritional value.

When I thawed the fish they appeared to be gutted which seems amazing to me based on their small size. The rest of the body is still together but the stomach looks like it was sliced open and the guts removed. If that is the case I would hate to have that job.
