Simple Aquapod Question

Is the bag with 1" white tubes in it carbon? I pulled out the bioballs and sponges and replaced with live rock rubble. But I didn't know what that bag was. If its carbon I think I'll leave it in for a month or two.

Nope, sounds like ceramic rings (same thing as bioballs).

Carbon should be little black rocks.
