simple question for anyone with an aqex controller

Did your unit come with a 12V power cord?

I hooked mine up a couple days ago and the screen turned on and I had a green light on the enegry bar and the base unit. I was having trouble with setting up the network connection and left it alone for a couple days.

Today I went to try agin and the screen was frozen so I unplugged the abus and it would not turn back on, so I un hooked everything to start over and nothing will turn on and I have a yellow flashing light on.

This is when I noticed in the user manual digram that it had a spot for a 12v power supply.

How did I even get power th my display without it?

I have not set mine up yet but I believe the Aquabus cable from the EB8 to the unit powers it as well. I had the same issue when mine arrived and wondered the same:

The 12 volt adapter does not come with the Apex. You only need it if you do not have an EB8 or want to hook it to a ups for notification during a power interruption. The power comes from the aquabus from the EB8 as stated earlier.

Well I feel a little better, I got the same as your pictures. I dont know why its not getting power to the controller.
