Singapore in a reef

Here's the deal: A nearby LFS has a really nice Singapore. It's eating flake and everything. And he only wants $24 for it.

So yeah, I'm tempted. Even though I know better. I have a mixed reef; Mostly softies & LPS.

Any success stories out there?

I've had one for quite a while now. He shows no interest at all in soft corals. He occasionally picks around SPS, but has never done any damage. The only LPS in the tank right now is a torch, which he has never shown any interest in.

However, mine is just one datapoint. Moreover, I would not trust him or any other angel with any fleshy LPS (acans, brains, etc.).

I know I should not even be considering this. One option I'm considering is to put him in my 29g frag tank after QT. Pretty much everything I have in my main reef, I have a frag of in there. If he goes to town in my frag tank, I can pretty easily get him out. And then trade him for something else.
