I've got a pair of Occ. clowns in my 12 gallon cube, and at a year and a half old, the female has started to get overly 'friendly' when I put my hand in the tank for maintenance. They were in the tank with a blue damsel, and it died a few months ago, but it doesn't seem to have made a big difference. They're currently the only fish in the tank.
It's made me kind of curious, are single clowns more docile? Or are all adult clowns nippy? How does it differ between the species? Are there differences between the color/pattern morphs within species?
