Hi, my new saltwater tank is running now for 2 weeks, since 18/6/2016. It's nano tank just 15 US gallons volume(my better half won't let me run any bigger for now). As in my tank description I'm not useing skimmer and sump for filtration. My only filtration is live sand and hang on filter filled with siporax and carbon, some sponge and floss. I've been into planted freshwater aquariums for a 7 years and decided to go for a marine tank whitch is my dream since I've started my adventure with aquariums. I'am confused a bit with useing siporax and active carbon in reef tanks. Will this filtering media help a bit or not, or please let me know your experiences with it or from any experienced users advice.
