six line question

I have a 6 line wrasse that has been in my tank for a month. yesterday i noticed he was missing. checked everywhere. didn't see anything dead. he didn't come out to feed...should I assume he is dead?

They can be terrific hiders, especially if you have a lot of rock. Give it a few days. Check the overflow.

I've had several and yes they go missing and hide in rock sometimes.

Well, after a second look i found him in the overflow. I gotta find a way to close it up, as he was the second victim. My clown had found his way a few months ago.

I will never own a 6 line again. You will never be able to add another wrasse once a 6 line is in the tank. At least that is my experience.

Have heard the exact same, the 6 line is beautiful but I refuse to get one just because of the no comparability with others :angryfire:
